Today I attended the Holy Rosary Church Longaberger Basket Bingo near my home in Hazleton, PA.
That is about all that I did--attended. Didn't win just donated.
I did however have the pleasure of having the company of my daughter Morgan who is four years old there cheering me on. Not to really win a basket so much as to get the cupcake with the white icing and sprinkles for her and the cookie for her daddy.
It was a nice day out none the less.
The selection of baskets was lovely and so were the ladies that organized the event.
Several of the baskets that were up for grabs were a spring basket set,beverage tote set,tissue basket set,small sage vase, 8 inch american work basket with lid, foyer basket,latte mugs, t.v. time basket set and two very nice raffles.
They had very good food also. Pizza, ziti and meatballs and pierogies with butter and onions.
I will be keeping an eye out for the next basket bingo and report on it after attending although the springtime around here is a slow time for them. Fall and winter is a very active time for basket bingo.
